Filing Trademark Application:

A
Power of Attorney form duly legalized up to the
Jordanian Consulate.

Filing Patent
Application:
-
A
power of attorney duly legalized up to the Jordanian
Consulate.

Patent Form No. 4 signed and sworn by each inventor
and applicants,
notarized and duly legalized up to the Jordanian
Consulate.
-
One
copy of the patent specification and claims in both
English and Arabic.
-
One
set of the formal drawings, if any.
-
To
avoid the substantive examination of the patent
application, a copy of the letters patent
(registration certificate) is required in order to
complete) the registration procedures.
-
An
abstract of the invention of no more than 200 words
for the purpose of publication in the Official
Gazette.
-
A
certified copy of the certificate of registration or
the certificate of incorporation of the Applicant
Company.
-
A
certified priority document (to be submitted within
two months of the date of filing the application) if
priority is claimed, along with its English and
Arabic translation completely, the specifications,
claims and abstract should match the filed documents
in Jordan. If differences are shown in the said
document with the filed documents whether in the
inventors names or the applicants, a duly legalized
deed of assignment should be filed along with simply
signed letter from the applicant clarifying the
cause of such differences.
Notes:

If
the documents are in a language other than the
Arabic or English language, the documents must be
translated into both the Arabic and English
languages. If the documents are in the English
language, the documents must be translated into the
Arabic language only and our charges for translation
are US$35.00 per page. And US$ 45 from other
language. ( we can handle such translation).

Documents mentioned under numbers: 1, 2, 5, 7, 8 and
9 can be submitted within 60 days from the filing
date.

Absolute novelty is required for filing a National
Phase Patent Application whereas any application
should be filed before the lapse of 12 months as
from its publication date or Priority date (if it is
claimed), according to Article No. 3/1 & 2 of the
Jordanian Patent Law.

The
Patent Office is currently not accepting any patent
annuities till the issuance of the related
regulations which has not been issued yet .
Filing Design
Application:

A
power of attorney duly legalized up to the Jordanian

Name, address, nationality and business of the
applicant.

The
class in which each model is to be registered.

The
article covered by each model and the material used
in producing it.
