Trademark Application:

A simply signed and
stamped Power of Attorney with the Corporate Seal on
the letterhead of the Applicant Company. The name of
the authorized person should be spelled out clearly
on the Power of Attorney.

The name, address,
and nationality of the applicant and the nature of
its business.

The list of goods to
be covered.
-
A positive film and
10 prints of less than 10 x 10 cms (which can be
made locally).

The registration
number and date, (if the mark is registered outside
Lebanon especially in the home country).
Filing Patent Application:
-
A simply signed and
stamped with the corporate seal power of attorney on
the letterhead of the Applicant Company. The name of
the authorized person should be spelled out clearly
on the power of attorney. The name, address,
nationality and occupation of the applicant(s) and
inventor(s).

Three copies of the
specifications and claims in any major language
(especially English, French or Arabic), and three
sets of the formal drawings, divided as follows:

Title of the
invention.

Summary of the
invention.
-
Full description
of the invention (detailing the methods to
execute the invention and its industrial
application, preferably with examples,
statistics, etc.).

Claims.
-
Drawings and
brief description of the drawings.

A list of all
enclosed documents.

A certified copy of
the Home Certificate of Registration or Application
is required only for Claiming Convention Priority,
which can belatedly be filed within three months of
the filing date.
Filing Design Application:

A simply signed
and stamped by the corporate rubber stamp power of
attorney.

A description of
the design in triplicate.

The name, address,
and nationality of the applicant.

Three sets of the
drawings using the metric system.

If convention
priority is to be claimed, a certified copy of the
priority document must be submitted within three
months of the filing date.

applicant’s form (indicating the name of the
signatory and his occupation).
